What Should I Be Doing?
“I love God and Jesus with all of my heart. I don’t know what I am supposed to be doing. How do I serve and get into ‘kingdom play’?”
Your life has a unique and distinct purpose designed by your Paradise Father who dwells within you. You have angels who want to guide your steps in greater spiritual growth (soul growth), more loving service to your friends and families and further your progress towards Paradise where your Father lives and longs for you to be with Him. When we choose to make our Father’s will our own we enter into ‘kingdom play’. This is where the real adventure begins!
Here is what we said:
When we look to Jesus we see the Son of God as a layman, NO titles or degrees by His name, and one who held no material wealth or popular power by which to manipulate or control people. And yet ~ He changed the world by living and teaching the truths that He has now asked for us to teach and promote as well. He promised us that when we enter into this way of living our lives we will find that all of our REAL needs will be met. Are we struggling in our material existence? Do we long for peace, tranquility and a deep sense of purpose? Would we appreciate some help from above in order to better provide for ourselves and our families? Then get into ‘kingdom play’ and watch what the angels do on your behalf. Otherwise, They are happy to allow us to struggle until we learn to trust the Father as Jesus did.
Statements to consider from Journey To The Father/The Urantia Book:
"Of Jesus it was truly said, 'He trusted God.' As a man among men he most sublimely trusted the Father in heaven. He trusted his Father as a little child trusts his earthly parent." 100:7.7
"Those who first seek to enter the kingdom, thus beginning to strive for a nobility of character like that of my Father, shall presently possess all else that is needful. But I say to you in all sincerity: Unless you seek entrance into the kingdom with the faith and trusting dependence of a little child, you shall in no wise gain admission. 137:8.8
You know that it has been well said: 'No man can serve two masters.’ You cannot sincerely worship God and at the same time wholeheartedly serve mammon. Having now enlisted unreservedly in the work of the kingdom, be not anxious for your lives; much less be concerned with what you shall eat or what you shall drink; nor yet for your bodies, what clothing you shall wear. Already have you learned that willing hands and earnest hearts shall not go hungry. And now, when you prepare to devote all of your energies to the work of the kingdom, be assured that the Father will not be unmindful of your needs. Seek first the kingdom of God, and when you have found entrance thereto, all things needful shall be added to you. Be not, therefore, unduly anxious for the morrow. Sufficient for the day is the trouble thereof. 140:6.13
